About  / Contact

My name is Marty Welter and I have been involved in photography for over 40 years. I purchased my first camera (a Petri Rangefinder) when I was about 12 years old. Since that time, I have photographed a wide range of subject matter including being a yearbook photographer in Grade School and High School, a newspaper stringer photographer, fire scene forensics photographer as well as photographing concerts, nature and landscapes, people, pets and equine portraiture. In 1992 I began a new chapter of my photography career when I started to photograph rodeos throughout the midwest. Rodeo Photography has become a main stay of my business and I am excited to have been able to photograph the sport for the past 26 years. I have been a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association since 1996 and I am a Gold Card Member!

Between November of 2018 and April of 2019, I have been a part of an exhibition at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs CO. They had an exhibition for PRCA Gold Card Members and I was honored that I was able to have 4 images as part of that exhibition!
